 Greetings!
I am pleased to welcome you all to the Faculty of Surgery and Allied Science page, it is the largest faculty of LUMHS which comprises of two institutes and eleven Departments. Each department is an epitome of modern clinical care.
As the Dean of the Faculty Surgery and Allied Science, I am delighted to share a few words about the program.
The Faculty is dedicated and committed to providing the best and most innovative surgical care in a “patient first” environment. Our academic mission is to train the next generation of surgical leaders and to advance the field of surgery through translational research. We work towards the mission by integrating education and research with clinical services, entailing a full range of surgical treatments including cutting-edge techniques, minimally invasive surgery and state-of-the-art procedures.
Our students have embraced the shift to a program that focuses on individualized learning and meaningful feedback and these up-and-coming stars are already making an impact in research, in medical education and at the bedside.
